This year marks the twenty-sixth year of The Washington International Print Fair and features fourteen art dealers from across the United States . The fair actually takes place in Virginia , a short walk across the Key Bridge from Georgetown in Washington , D.C. The international scope of the fair is in the material that the dealers will bring with them, that will include an exciting mix of American, Asian, European, and Japanese works of art on paper.

The prints, drawings and watercolors that will be exhibited are all original works of art created over the past five-hundred years by many different artists. The uniqueness of The Washington International Print Fair is that art from the great masters will be available as well as cutting edge contemporary work of artists working today. All the art offered is guaranteed to be original works of art not reproductions by the dealers, and the dealers are all highly recognized experts in their field. The majority of the exhibitors are members of the International Fine Print Dealers Association, founded in 1987 to ensure the highest ethical standards and quality among fine print dealers, and to promoting greater appreciation of fine prints among the public.

Patrons of the fair include collectors, museum curators, art dealers, decorators, art consultants and the interested public. We encourage anyone who is interested in works of art on paper to come and visit the fair and meet with the dealers, browsing the thousands of items that will be available will broaden the knowledge of art even if no purchases are made.
